This year, the 15th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks, we were honored to be asked to film this very special project for Fox Sports to open the NFL season. Victor Cruz reads letters that were sent from NY Giants fans to the players in the weeks following the devastating events. The letters tell how the players reached out to the community in the time of need and their story highlights the remarkable ability for tragedies to bring people together. For the first part of the day, we went to Metlife Stadium and took over the locker room to film Victor. That evening, our crew was granted exclusive access to the breathtaking 9/11 Memorial in downtown Manhattan. Using a camera crane and a 3-Axis gimbal, Director of Photography Jonathan Belinski was able to take full advantage of the dramatic setting and Producer Joel Santos, together with Editor Brian Alexander created a truly unforgettable piece.
