The LA Coliseum is as renowned and storied a stadium as you will find anywhere in the country. It has seen its share of memorable, if not mythical moments. On Saturday Sept 2, opening day of the college football season, Jake Olson, blind since he was 12 years old, overcame tremendous odds to fulfill his dream of playing for the USC Trojans. Jake, a long snapper, came into the game late and snapped for a successful extra point to help seal the Trojan victory. It was a moment that will not soon be forgotten and DP Jonathan Belinski was there in the LA Coliseum with a small team to help capture the inspirational story. Jonathan used an array of lenses on 2 Red Dragons. One camera was set up on a Gimbal for the intimate walking shots and another camera was set up with a series of long range zoom lenses. It was a special shoot to be a part of. Our sincere congratulations to Jake and his family!
