In anticipation of the 2018 FIFA World Cup, Jonathan traveled to Russia to film some of the country’s most iconic sights. It was an extensive trip covering several cities and countless stunning locations. Jonathan flew into Moscow, and after an equipment check, he and the crew traveled to Kazan. Equipped with multiple Red Dragon cameras, premium lenses, a 3-axis gimbal stabilizer rig and more, the crew was able to film in and around some of the city’s most famous locations such as the Kazan Kremlin. Next they flew to St. Petersburg, where they filmed at spectacular locations such as The Catherine Palace and The Church of the Savior on Blood. When they returned to Moscow to finish their journey, Jonathan and the crew filmed in Gorky Park and St. Basils Cathedral in Red Square. They were even granted access to film inside The Moscow Kremlin as well. It was a truly memorable project.
