In anticipation of Warner Bros. upcoming summer blockbuster Suicide Squad, we had the opportunity to film a specialty commercial with one of Hollywood’s fastest rising stars. It was an awesome shoot starring actress Margot Robbie and NFL superstar Rob Gronkowski. We were working with an amazing team from MaggieVision and a fantastic crew.

The entire project was conceived like a scene from a Hollywood movie, so the production was very much like a movie shoot held on a sound stage. The script is set inside a therapist office, and an elaborate set was custom built and then perfectly dressed by the art department. Director of Photography Jonathan Belinski along with the camera and lighting crew, set the mood by creating atmospheric beams of light and implementing a rich color palette. When the talent hit their marks, we were ready to roll and we had a blast. The final spot came together beautifully. It premiered during the television broadcast of ESPY Awards and was an instant hit.
