The UFC is coming to NYC! UFC205 is scheduled for November 12 at the legendary Madison Square Garden, in the heart of Manhattan. UFC wanted to commemorate the return to the Big Apple with a special commercial piece featuring the star fighters themselves as they come to Manhattan, and get ready to fight in the world’s most famous venue. Filming this piece was a great time with some unique challenges. Shooting entirely at night with a small and nimble crew, Director of Photography Jonathan Belinski used fast prime lenses, Red Dragon Cameras, and a 3-axis gimbal system. The crew took to the streets of Manhattan with some of the UFC’s biggest stars to capture the energy of the city that never sleeps.
